{i love a party}

so i have been thinking about ideas for Z's birthday party...yes I know it isn't until Nov 21--but I am having little naomi chick only weeks before that--so i figured it's never to early to start planning. I do love parties--and I love to plan my little kiddo's parties! I found this fabulous site that has given me so many fun ideas! it's called Kara's party ideas
There is some major amazingness going on! i loved the candy shoppe party (check it out here} and also the vintage elephant (here) party. Another great blog for party ideas and inspiration is amy atlas--she is beyond fab~

{in other news I was tagged by the uber fabulous rambling renovators with 5 questions~}

1.what inspired you to blog? what is your favorite blog? I started blogging mainly as a way to document my little fam and kiddos; and as another sort of way to journal. It has also been a great way to stay in contact with fam and friends:) My fav blog....that is such a tough one. I love certain blogs for different reasons. I have fav photography blogs, decor blogs, and just family blogs....i don't even know that I can attempt to name a favorite! There is so much talent and creativity out there! it is amazing--Y'all are so fab~

2.If there was a fire in your house, and you only had time to grab 4 things (excluding your family!), what would they be?The first thing I would grab is all my pictures--so irreplaceable! My journals/ scrapbooks, my grandfather's wedding ring, and a tea set that my grandma made for me~

3. If you could live somewhere else in the world, where would it be? why?Greece or New Zealand popped up in my head first. I would love anywhere close to the beach--but with mild temperatures that I could still enjoy all the things I love to do outside--running and biking. I honestly would be totally happy anywhere where I was close to all of my family and friends~

oooo--I know in my mind exactly what it looks like from room to room:) I love the charm of the older big victorian/cape cod style homes with the big porches, and white trim. Dark floors, white wainscoting, cleans lines, with pops of color. A big white kitchen--modern but warm, vintage, and ecclectic, should i even go on?.....when can i start the plans??
5. Name something you wish you had more time for.
Ummm it seems like everything these days! One thing that I don't find as much time for is making things. I love to sit down with a new project! I am learning how to sew, and I would love to have more time for that; and I do love a good DIY project too~{If you would like play along--make up 5 questions and tag 4 peeps~}

There are so many AMAZING party ideas out there now! You are soooo creative, I know Z's party will be a true sight! My kiddos have Oct/Nov/Dec birthdays, so unfortunately, I will never get to do an amazing outside party (my dream)...it is fun to come up with fun indoor parties though!
