{campfire}

nothing says summer like a little campfire and smores! we took the kiddos up the canyon to our fav spot, had some dinner, and roasted some marshmellows. It is so pretty and green here right now, and i love that we live so close to the mountains~ i definitely take it for granted. The kiddos were in heaven with all the sugar and camfire stories. I love these summer nights and memories that we are creating with our kids~I am cherishing this time of my life with my little babes! it goes by way to fast~

fudge striped cookies are the key! i learned this recipe for smores from girl's camp back in the day--and i think is the best! soft cookie, and just a little chocolate=smore perfection!

You guys are such a great example to me for what I want to be like as a parent! Your kids are going to have SO many fun memories with the family.

P.S. I wish I had as much style as Zoee! :-)

Simple things like marshmallows around a campfire make the best memories, don't they? You all look beautiful and happy (as usual!).

Hey Shar,
So this is regarding your rug post a while back. You probably already bought one. But there is a rug on Overstock that looks almost identical to the grey one you have posted. It is out of stock right now but here is the link
