I just discovered your blog through 6th Street and I LOVE it! Your little family is so cute and your photos are just beautiful. Where do you buy most of your kiddos' clothes? They are so cute - I'm always on the hunt for cute clothes and accessories for my 20 month-old daughter!

Everything was so darling Shar! You are quite the party planner! I love the idea of taking pictures with the clown noses... Paige and Carters is my fav =)

Photo Booth is so much fun! I love that. I agree with Lindsay, the clown noses were a nice touch! Keep on planning those designer parties...they are so fancy!

P.S. How do you round your photo corners?? Do you have an action that you run or do you use something else?? I would love a tip. They look so much better with the curves...

ps if you're wondering who the heck this is...you took our pictures in November. You will have to do them again when I don't have a bald spot anymore...haha!

Okay. Lurker coming out of the closet. Just jumped over from Lind's bloggy, Promise I'm not spooky! LOL! Love how you put a fab spin on the old carnival theme!! SO vintage! No joke my sis who lives out of state JUST did the exact same Photobooth shots for her little girls 1st! Red nose/background and everything! Can't quite remember where she said she got the idea...online perhaps, abyway had to mention because I was like, Whoa that looks familiar! LOL! Great partay!

I was wondering if you could share some of your design/decor choices from you home (I am absolutely in love with it). In particular, what type of shutters are on your windows, what type of wood flooring is in the living room and what is that great kitchen counter top?

Thanks:)

Sharstin said...

Hey danielle--You bet I will share :) I am flattered you even want to know. The countertops are quartz in a light grey color-- we have really liked them. The Wood floors are actually the original floors; which we had refinished in a super dark brown stain called ebony. The shutters are the white four inch plantation shutters. I am not sure the company that installed them. I do love them-- they add so much. I hope that answers your questions:) thanks for your comment and checking out my little blog~

Thank you so much for your response. We have lived in our home for just over two years now and the windows are still bare (I refuse to put something up unless I LOVE it). When I saw your shutters, I thought they were exactly what I was looking for: simple and modern, but with a warm touch. My husband will be very happy!

Thanks again

So cute! I wish Alivia would branch away from the princess theme for a while so we could try something new. Not happening this year.
