drew had the day off yesterday, so we decided to head to SLC with C&Z; and check out a couple little shops i had heard about. First up on the agenda was Mini's Cupcakes voted Best cupcake shop of 2009 by the salt lake city weekly {let them eat cupcakes!}. When I walked in the front door, i was in absolute heaven! the place is decorated floor to ceiling with fun vintage stuff~ tons of retro tables&chair sets, sofas, and pink striped walls! it is seriously darling! and i did take a bite of the cupcakes--yummers! Zoee got The Diva cupcake (fitting i know!) - Dark Belgium Chocolate Cupcake with Pink Crème Cheese Frosting.
and Caleb got the Breakfast at Tiffany's cupcake-Madagascar Vanilla Bean Cupcake with Tiffany Blue Crème Cheese Frosting topped with edible gems!

On to our Next Stop! Hatch Family Chocolates! We recently saw a t.v show called the
Little Chocolatiers on TLC. It is about a little couple that runs a chocolate shop in SLC! So we had to go check it out. Turns out
the owners Steve and Katie were there! We got a picture with them and chatted. They are SO nice; and the place is awesome! New episodes of their show: the Little Chocolatiers will begin in March~ watch it for sure! very cute show-and couple~

Loved this post Shar! Beautiful colors and great photography. We have been to Hatch's about 10 times-found it a couple of years ago when Jillian lived down the street. We have to go there when we are in Salt Lake!

Also, I did see one episode of that little chocolatiers show, but somehow I completely missed their store was in SLC! crazy!
