{some accessories-diy style}

My sister is having a girl {lola :)} in may, and decided she wanted to make some headbands; so i headed over for a fun project/craft day! i {heart} all the cute felt headbands on etsy; and as it turns out they are pretty easy to make! There are a lot of tutorials out there as well--like here.
I made a few for Z, and now i would like some for myself :) This could be addicting!! My sister made lots of cute ones too! lucky little Lola!
The inspiration: lou & lee
mine: {not lou & lee amazingness~but turned out ok}

As modeled by my Z you can wear this one two ways

Up front I will say this is a little shameless, but here it goes. You are my favorite new blog! And as such, over the past few days I've gone through your archives, which kinda feels nosy and stalky, but really it's a testament to my interest in your adorable life. ANYWAY, i noticed you visited my hometown recently and I thought there was a slight chance you may be interested in some of my Nashville photos (http://sixwordbiography.blogspot.com/). If not, well, I don't get embarassed so that's ok =)

Thank you for being an inspiration - cheesey, but true, and I really look forward to reading your future posts!

hey cHanTel! ok Chick- so the rosette flowers are easy--you pretty much just cut strips of fabric, tie a knot in the middle--put the two sides together, and then start to twist, and glue as you go (glue gun), Then the felt flowers you just get a pack of cookie cutters or stencils that have all different sizes of the same shape and layer! hope that makes some sense :) if not let me know~ also-- I heard there is some mexico talk as well?? Love it!!
