well howdy--i haven't been round these parts lately. You see, i had a pretty hectic and crazy fall--so i felt like i needed a little bloggy break. Time to just ~be~ you know what i am saying? i wanted to feel present, and just have some family and rest time. We had a wonderful thanksgiving with family and then some more family time in San Diego--it was so much fun hanging out with our favorite peeps, eating way to much, and enjoying the fabulous weather. i think the bags under my eyes are finally fading, and i am feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.....just in time to run around getting all the christmas hoopla done...errrg...:) i do enjoy it....sort of~
here is a lil of what we have been up from here and there ...
been listening to these christmas tunes--love. Speaking of--hope you are all new girl fans, b/c it
is downright hilarious--schmidt is a kick in the pants--tune in people. I also cannot stop watching chopped on the food network--the mad cooking skills is unbelievable! anyways....
we had a little baking session-- gingerbread men & trees--don't you love how betty makes the packages of these sorts of goodies...it's a good thing.
the kiddos were all amped up to help trim the tree~ for about 10 minutes, then i was on my own....lightweights:).....we have always had a live tree, but got a pre lit this year--i sort of miss the real tree--but we did get some live garland, so at least we still get the real tree smell....not sure it is the same though....ok--i miss a real tree this year...but not the pine needles.
and last week, caleb had his first ski lesson by my dad. My dad taught all of us to ski when we were little--so now it is caleb's turn~ check out the lil skis:) His first lesson was a success, and he was a fan. I am excited to hit the slopes with the dude~
i am looking forward to some more upcoming holiday palooza~ hope you are all enjoying this fun season~

She & Him Christmas album is fabulous. New Girl is RIDICULOUSLY funny. Love it. We have a pre-lit tree. It's going in the trash after this Christmas. I can't even deal with the light frustrations anymore. I'm pretty excited about fresh trees from here on out. :) Your tree looks bea-utiful, btw! Your kids are just the cutest - Nora is getting to be such a big girl! They grow up WAY too fast!
I've been also loving the She and Him tunes, so nice to freshen up my Christmas playlist. I also love the mustard tights and pants the kids are sporting, so cute!! Nora is growing too fast! I hope you are getting a lot of video of her, she'll be big before you know it!
Your tree is gorgeous! And how awesome is it that your dad gets to teach Caleb how to ski. Looks like you guys are having a great holiday season!

Oh this time of year is the best! All of the craziness that is going on. I am way excited to go skiing with my kiddos this year. Kambri and Bennett love it:) Glad Caleb had fun, what a great grandpa!

Nora's deer dress is from H&M, her chevron one is from Old Navy--it comes in pink as well--Love it~
Z's mustard tights are from H&M--they came with gold sparkly ones as well.
Nora's are from Old Navy--they have some really cute tights right now. I also get a lot of Zoee's tights from welovecolors.com--they have it all.~
Your little Nora IS getting so big, I can't believe how fast kiddos grow!!! I'm totally a fan of New Girl, can't get enough of that show.
