This past weekend the temp was almost 60. Which was shut the front door fabulous~ we were outside all day, enjoying the nice warm weather....we even took the kiddos on a little hike. Such a tease~ There were 4 fabulous days....we are talking running short days!...and then yesterday it snowed, and everything is back to white. It's a'ight! at least we enjoyed it while it lasted. The good thing about being stuck inside? there is ample time to get some craft on. I decided even if it wasn't looking like spring anymore, i was going to channel spring and whip up a new wreath. i was planning on making a
yarn wreath, but got lazy and found this striped fabric that i was nuts over. i chose the easy route, and wrapped the fabric around the wreath, and-wham bam, done:) .......and then i started to wrap things in yarn......
you can find a flower tutorial on danielle's blog {
here}
and joi has one too {
here}

you know how i love me some stripes and a pretty shade of mustard
this m turned out to be a pain in the rear! Ugh! and now i am not even sure where to put the little devil.....it is screaming kids play room:)
miss nor was my crafting buddy, she even got some new headbands out of the deal-
.happy weekend friends~

love your wreaths suupppeeerrrr cute! :)
love the wreath. I am actually in the process of trying to wrap an R in yarn. It is freaking hard! I think I'm going to resort to hot gluing some of it in place so it doesn't look ridiculous.
ashlye--good idea! i should have done that because i will tell ya, it got a bit crazy!
I need to do this. Love the color choices. I hope you and your family have an amazing weekend!!
I love how crafty you are!! So cute. Wish i had this talent but i just don't!! Oh well. Way cute stuff, good work!!
That wreath is freakin awesome! Gotta try to make one for my new house since we should be moving in a couple of weeks from now :)
Great crafts, as always! You know I love me some stripes!
I looked up those tutorials...I've never seen that way of making flowers. Noted.
And the babe is so gorgeous. She's growing right up. Sniff, sniff.
...and you just whipped up these amazing crafts? Fantastic! I've tried similar flowers, & they must not like me too well! Your lil' helper...such a darling model! Have a great weekend!... & yes, think SPRING!!!
You need to open a SHOP. Your so crafty!
I love that "m"! So cute! Our blizzard finally left is with sunny skies. -7 a week ago, in the 70's this week! Glad you had some beautiful days :)
oh man, i have been looking for a cute spring wreath idea, and this is it for sure. i even have that same fabric already.
i've made a few yarn wreaths, and while they are so fun (when they are done) they take forever to make. i think i'll go with the fabric.
thanks for the inspiration!
Love your wreath. I made one the other week with the same types of flowers, inspired by Danielle :-)
I think we pretty much experience the same weather, considering that we're only one state apart. I truly enjoyed those few warm days! I hope they come back soon.
And Miss Nora is such a doll! I love her new headbands. Where do you get the elastic bands from? I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
She is just stunning.. Love her little jean jacket and her headband :) Too cute for words!
I love the way your wreath turned out! SO cute!
hey tatiana! the bands i use for Nora are just the skinny elastic that you can buy by the yard at joannes. It comes in a few different colors. I also use the skinny workout bands, that is what this one is made out of.:)
Ooh, I love both crafts and little Miss. Nora!
That yellow and strip combo is perfection...especially with the hint of lace.
Great job as always, Shar!
Love this! Nothing like some DIY pretty action to beckon spring and the new life it brings with it :)

SO adorable. The M is great! I love the texture you created with the yarn going different directions (: And as always, I'm loving sweet Nora and her flower headband (:
I still can't get over how much Nora looks like Caleb, and that itty bitty baby vest is to die for. Who do you guys think she looks most like??
dayka--she looks exactly like caleb at that age! it's pretty funny:)
Sheesh, it's been forever since I've been able to comment on here.
I love what you did with the M. I've been itching to redo the girls' room so I think I'm going to try this with one of their initials and remove the rest.
The wreath is also super cute.
And the kiddos of course. Nora has gotten so big. A total fashionista like her sister!
