{what a summer~}
the summer is coming to an end, and it is definitely bittersweet. With my kids at such great ages, it has been a fun filled summer that has gone by so fast. Don't get me wrong, i do love the fall--the crisp air, changing leaves, pumpkin treats, and yummy fall attire! {not to mention a little scrumptious babe that will make her appearance this fall~}......... but my caleb will be starting kindergarten on WED; and i get so emotional thinking about it! he is my buddy, and i will miss him something terrible! I guess there is this thought too that it is the beginning of him really starting to grow up.....which makes me sad! It makes me think of the ABBA song--"slipping through my fingers all the time"... {which by the way seriously gets the waterworks flowing!} because it's so true! it's amazing how fast these babies grow! I have no doubt that Caleb will do amazing in kindergarten. i just feel so lucky to be their mom; and to be able to watch them in all their many adventures ahead~

Ah Caleb.... I still remember him looking up at us in the elevator at the hospital just minutes after being born. Such a sweet little thing from day one. I sure love him. Now you are getting me a little teary eyed...
He will do so great in kindy... he's such an outgoing cute kid. He's going to be everyone's favorite friend. Love you Caleb! =)
Oh honey...I've sooo been there...the very first day of kindergarten...two years ago...and I had to wear sunglasses in because I was crying so hard. (My hubs was embarrassed, but was so sweet.) I cried for 8 days...after I dropped her off...the tears came. She had a wonderful time and loved it...still does! We miss our little people...sending them off into the world...but it all works out...and trust me...C will be the best dressed, most handsome little guy...that scores big points with the teachers! Ha!
I bet this time is SO bittersweet for you! Did they get new shoes?? :) SO cute!
Oh I am going to cry so hard when my babe goes to kindergarten! I feel for you, hopefully with new baby it will be a nice distraction!

I am sure I will be emotional next fall. How do they grow up so darn fast??? Seriously. Time flies.

I am terrified of my lil' kiddos starting school. But I guess that's still a few years down the road.

Ah Geez, that tears just keep coming for me! I am so sad, I just need to not think of it! I can't believe our kids are so big! Let us know how Caleb does today, we will be thinking of him!

Oh S, here's a great big Mama hug from one Mama to another. I hear you about Caleb going back and loosing your buddy. My BFF jsut went back to work from Mat leave and O and I are missing our buddies.

You did point out a few nice things about fall but.... fall reminds me too much of ugly, cold winter that is just around the corner. I think I would like fall a lot more if it was fallowed by spring. :)
