{a little diy}

i have been wanting to make some things for little {N} since I feel like she is going to be here before I know it! so i finally just sat down and started on some DIY....

My sis helped me make her first little homemade receiving blanket. Hopefully i will get a few more done before she gets here...
i am now planning on making a quilt for her nursery {since I can't find any i am dying over!} we shall see how it turns out {cross your fingers!} Loving these fabrics from anna maria horner, heather bailey, and jennifer paganellli--now the problem is choosing which ones to use for the nursery quilt!

a few headbands i made. Some are still half done. I had to try one on my darling little niece Lola, and Z

sure i am a fan of DIY--but i also just love the ease of buying ready made--who doesn't? especially with the fabulous esty!i had to share this great etsy site: ZUZii NO369

dying over the boots!

I just found out we are having a girl too...and I am itching to make some homemade headbands and bows too! How do you make those cute folded flowers? and how do you know how long to make the headband? I am searching for ideas and tips and I LOVE the headbands you are always rockin'! I would love any tips you can give me! :)

Such cute stuff. I love the fabric you chose for her blanket. My fav fabrics for the quilt are the top right, bottom left and middle. But they are all so adorable!

All this stuff is SO cute! I swear I would go broke with a little girl--but the DIY stuff is such a great idea.

I must REALLY be sleep deprived, b/c first I forgot to publish your comment and then I totally didn't register the "girly" part until you mentioned it-HA! A little out of it these days... :)

Happy Monday! Hope little N is treating you well!

I like it all! Did you have a pattern for your blanket? Do you have a step by step for your flowers you made? Do you make your own actual head band part? Ok 20 questions is done ;)

That receiving blanket is adorable, and I LOVE the little tiny headbands you make!

I came across a little shop yesterday on etsy that sold baby shoes... and it made me think of your little N arriving! They were so cute. I must find that link again and share it! :)

Your headbands are amazing! I've been wanting to make some for my little lady, but I still have to find all the necessary materials. And I'm absolutely in love with those fabrics! It's going to be a great quilt!

Fun stuff. Love the green/bluish print the best. It's such a fresh and less expected combo. But the yellow one is awfully sweet.

I'd also be interested in a headband tutorial!! Very cool.
