How is life passing by so quickly?? I feel like this past year has gone by way too fast, and it's kind of freakin me out. I realized that I need to really slow down--and enjoy this part of my life. So,I have been making an effort to have joy in the small things, and really live everyday to it's fullest. I just don't ever want to have regrets!! and I don't want to get caught up in all the things that are going on, and be too busy to really enjoy my kids at this moment. They grow in a blink of an eye--and you can never get that time back. So I sat down and really started to think of the things that I love and cherish--big or small--in my life right now. I really couldn't list them all--or I am pretty sure you would fall asleep--but here are a some..
*When Caleb wakes up and walks into the room with his little t-shirt and undies on--and says good morning mom--with a big smile
*a hot, hot shower after a long run.
*Getting Zoee out of her crib and having her squeal --and be so so excited-- and of course the little pat on the back she gives me--so funny.
*Good Health
*How Zoee plays with her hair when she is tired.
*Being with my sisters and bro--talking about old time--and laughing until it hurts.
*Finding an old picture that has you on a trip down memory lane
*The thrill of accomplishing goals
*Watching the kids run to Andrew when he walks in the door.
* Finally finding that perfect something you have been searching for!clothing or decor :)
* Long drives accompanied with a great conversation/not on a windy road--or there could be some throwing up involved.
* Zoee's little dance--it's more of a bounce
*When Caleb laughs really hard and he goes into this funny belly laugh/giggle.
*Watching my kids experience new things
*Clean, crisp white sheets
*Getting mail--not the junk kind--I am talking a fun handwritten card or note :)
*A finish line of a race
*Using a hot towel right out of the dryer
*Going into the "ugly cry" during a really fabulous movie.
*Getting together with friends that you haven't seen for a while, and feeling like no time has even passed.
*A hot summer day that smells of suntan lotion, and watermelon.
*A super hard --sweaty workout!
*How Zoee loves to feed everyone-- and boy is that girl persistant. She doesn't take no for an answer.
*All of my conversations with Caleb.
*The innocence of children.
*Date night with Drew
*Getting just the right shot at a session!
*Zoee's pigtails bouncing as she walks---and how she just will occasionally add in a little hop/skip--cutest thing ever.
*When I am about to leave and Caleb always says--"wait--you have to give me a hug and a kiss." I know this won't last forever :) and I love it!
and the list could go on and on....I hope to really cherish these moments and not to let them pass me by.... life is too short..
and I didn't want this post to be naked--so here is a pict of Caleb--4 and oh so big.

So true, it seems like it just flies by and then before you know it they will be big and won't want us to hug and kiss them! It's so hard to find a balance, but so so important! Love the pics they are darling as always:)
I agree with you 100%. The other day I spent the whole morning just playing with Luke and enjoying him at home. I didn't clean anything, turn on any electronics, or go anywhere. We just played. We sometimes have to remind ourselves to slow down. With this baby coming my days with only my sweet boy are numbered.
Ah those are great things. What live is all about.
Time does go by sooo fast! I love all of your photos lately. Every one of them has been so colorful and fun. You have a great style!
