**Sewing...here is the story-- my sis and I have been talking about how fun it would be to learn to sew-(and you know I have this thing for fabric). So, my mother-in-law was in town for the holidays, and spent a whole day helping us make a little dress. It was a lot of fun, but a little harder than I expected--and we even got a pattern labeled "easy." I don't know how well it turned out--but I do love the fabric--it's Heather Bailey.
**I have been asked where I get my fabric. If you are local--there is a store called Sweet Lavender in Roy. The owner says she stocks the most designer fabrics out of any store in Utah. She has got all the Amy Butler and Heather Bailey stuff--plus lots more--check it out :)
**So here are a few picts of Z is her dress that doesn't quite fit--and a new white background I was messing with. She was pulling all these funny faces so I had to keep on shooting....
She is workin the bangs

I love it. Good work. I am so glad you mentioned that store!! I think you got me hooked on Amy Butler fabric and I have been wanting to make some curtains for lib's room with some. I am for sure going to that store! Great info...
Cute bangs. Lovin' them.
She looks so cute with bangs! But she looks so much older--I can't believe how big she is getting! Kudos on the dress--it is uber cute :)
Nice Work Shar, way to pick up a new hobby. The dress looks good, and you even mastered a button and hole. You are already a pro. I have a few fun patterns for little girls if you ever want one, it is always fun to try something new. and very cute bangs Z!
Love the dress. I think it looks great! And the pattern is super cute! I just bought some Amy Butler fabric to copy your pictures from your kitchen! (I hope you don't mind!) I am trying to redecorate the house a bit. Anyhow, I hope I didn't get an awful deal...I payed about 4.50 for a half yard. Is that good?
I'm freakin in love with these pictures of little Z and I love how our dresses turned out!
Leash--that is not bad--that is fun you are redecorating!!
Love the Bangs! She looks so dang cute! Way to go on the dress my friend! I love it. You shouldn't already retire you sewing. I think you could produce many more winners like this one.
So great!
I love the dress, love the white background, and as always, love your pictures.
