{here comes the sun...}

Little darling
it's been a long, cold lonely winter
little darling
if feels like years since it's been here

here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and i say
it's all right

Little darling
I feel the ice is slowly melting
Little darling
it seems like years since it's been clear

Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and i say
It's all right

this week has been a breath of fresh air...literally. I have been enjoying these days being outside with the babes, getting a little sunshine--especially since i have been single parent status with hubs out on business--help me rhonda.. This weather makes me so excited for summer. I am all for shorts and sandals, hoola-hoopage, playing with cousins, pet worms, swings, ice-cream and popsicles here to stay! whose with me?

1 can of chickpeas-drained and rinsed
lay flat out on baking sheet
drizzle with olive oil, sea salt, and any spice you fancy. I like paprika
Pop then in the oven-@400 for 30-40 min. or until nice and crispy.
enjoy!

I want Zoee's shorts! They're so cute! I agree, bring on SuN! It's been sunny in Seattle and I've been loving it so much. I love the worm shot. The dirty hands and fingernails-- it's what childhood should look like. Happy spring!:)

I love roasted chickpeas!!

may I also suggest adding a bit of cumin to your paprika?

OR making sweet and salty ones with a bit of brown sugar and extra salt?

Oh lady, I hope we can keep this warm weather going. Wouldn't that be wonderful...

I'm excited to see what you brew up for that shower, I know it'll be grand. I've got lots of blue service ware if you need to borrow.

Zoee and her bugs is the cutest thing around. She's seriously such a cool girl. Love her to bits.

I love lemon bars. The made-from-scratch with plenty of fresh lemons and butter kind. YUM. :)

Also, lemon cream pie is tasty.

I can scrounge up recipes if you holler.
