{new biz--a recap of the latest}

Did you have a happy leap day--is it spring yet?? the stores say it is.....flaunting all the spring goodness when there is still snow outside--it's just not right...

we have had a few new happenings in the past couple o weeks......
start of with miss nora and her first wee lil ponytail. She actually just really needs her lazy mom to get her in for a haircut--the girl has a serious mullet--which flips up at the end...it looks like she is trying to bring back the Jennifer Anniston flip from Friends. I tried my hair like that when i was in 8th grade--pretty hideous.

speaking of haircuts....i decided to get some fringe. I am somewhat impulsive, and this was one of those times. Ithought--maybe i can finally cut bangs--and then in the same day, i just went ahead and did it. I just hope they don't drive me bonkers.....i just wanted to be like zoee...:)that lil gal----i took her for ice cream at one of the fav joints the other day. She is just such a funny lil thing, and how i love to squeeze on her. She is just my little buddy who goes shopping with me and helps me out. She will chat and chat and has the cutest little voice--her new thing is she always begins a sentence with--"and you wanna know whats funny?" she calls zucchini--bikini--and transforms into flower the mermaid when she is in the bath--and will not answer to anything but that. She loves to play pretend and is an animal charmer....she is the lady of the house--no doubt.

i finally got to skiing with the dude--and i was so impressed--he has gotten to be such a great skier. It was so much fun to go up with him and my dad...I hadn't been for a while, and it was a good time, and so pretty. i take for granted that we can drive 30 minutes and be up in the mountains--a beautiful thing. Although on that drive home--i was hit with some fierce carsickness and had to stay in the fetal position the rest of the night...bleck!
Finally--a new spring wreath i made with my sweet pal Lib. I pretty much just follower her lead--as my ruffles went askew.....the front door with in dire need.

random enough for ya? so ya that is the latest and greatest--not to exciting-i must admit. Life in the mommy hood lane......Hope y'all have a great weekend~

So cute! Long the fringe on you.

I can't believe you jest about the flip haircut. You were adorable even in 8th grade when everyone looks like crap and all the girls at South were jealous. You knew that hair was going to be cool way before everyone else did. You had and have still got some mad skills when it comes to knowing what is hot. P.S. your kids are so cute I can hardly handle it.

I do think your bangs look super cute! I might try them again in a few years, I'm not as impulsive as you:) And I love the wreath, see that's what kind of craft I was talking about last night!!!

Love the matching bangs!!!

The bangs are so cute on you! They make you look even younger! Miss Chloe has the same problem as Z with her hair.. I have to keep cutting the back over and over because the rest needs to catch up! If I didn't it would be Mullety for sure! Love the randomness. You have such a cute fam!

I love the sister sister shoes. So cute.

That pony tail is darling. Makes me wish I wasn't obsessive about cutting Blair's hairs when they get long in the back...poor thing will never real hair, I'm afraid.

I agree with Zoee on the gummies-they do not play well with the ice cream!!

P.S. those muffins were delish. Thanks for sharing!

They are just adorable! Love their outfits & 'dos! :)

Oh Shar, I never stop being amazed at how good looking your family is. Seriously, you guys are just gorgeous. I've been putting Giada's hair in a ponytail as well, but it only lasts about 1hr at a time.
And I love your bangs. I kept on thinking about getting mine cut too but I'm scared. Bc if they look horrible on me, it's not like I can just pull them back or hide them somehow. Decisions, decisions.

I can't believe Z fell asleep on the stairs.. love that spicy girl! I love your new bangs.. good choice =)

Zoee on the stairs is cracking me up! How can kids sleep like that. Too funny. I think it's so fun that you started Caleb skiing early. It's such a great sport and you are so much better when you start young.

Your bangs look great!

I think it is officially a milestone moment when a girl gets her first pony tail. Suddenly, baby face is a toddler. It's like a boy when he gets a hair cut and instantly grows up. Cute little kiddos!

Your kiddos are just so full of personality & it shows:) Your sweet Nora & her teeny pony tail, Caleb & his hott-stuff status going with his awesome momma skiing, & sleepy beauty Zoee!
