{round here}

a few weeks ago- i got together with some fun chicks for some crafting~ i have been lacking in the crafting department for a while, so it was great to actually make some stuff--plus girl chatting time is always a good time.
I ended up making a shirt for caleb--i just downloaded this old school font, and with the help of libby transferred it to the freezer paper and onto the shirt. I think it turned out pretty alright for a first timer. Hopefully i will muster up the motivation to make a couple more....because i did find a cute old school bike graphic that i really like....i feel another craft night in the works....:)zzUntitled-1

I had also been wanting to make the kate spade inspired ampersand for my picture wall...{it's needing a lil revampage} So, I found the graphic online {here}, cut it out, traced it, and painted around it on the canvas---pretty easy~the finished projects~and a lil posing from caleb....IMG_z8896IMG_z8953
a few shots from an outing with the lil chicks and i. We had a fun day at the park..playing on the tire swing, and feeding the animals at this little local farm. The apples were starting to fall, and they loved it. Spending time with my two girls is top notch. Nora is starting to have quite the lil personality--she is 11 months in a couple of days....sigh.....on a happier note, did i mention we had some pumpkin bagels and cream cheese {einstiens bagels} after? oh ya--that stuff is insane delicious--i look forward to it every fall~

Stellar DIY shirt! I always say I'm gonna take the time to make some AmAzInG crafty shirts, but always end up just painting some! Love the bike idea...if Henry ever moves outta his crib (he sooo loves it), I plan to create a ginormous bike canvas. We'll see. Love the shots of your adorable fashionistas with the apples! Ahhhh fall....I'm so in love with it right now! :)

I was thinkIng of making that ampersand myself! Yours turned out great! I'm so jealous that Nora still keeps bows in her hair! Evie pulls hers out as soon as she realizes I've put one in now! Stinker :)

First and foremost-so happy that you bypassed the V-word and went with "old school". Kudos to you!!

The crafts turned out great. Caleb looks so hip.

Zoee's stripey socks are killing me. So sweet.
