{hello sunshine}

The weather this week has been fabulous! Ok- I guess fabulous for UT.--60's--and I'll take it! So we have been outside trying to soak in some sunshine; and be out as much as possible--since there has been a major case of cabin fever! you can only go to the treehouse museum so many times.
So, we hit the park, and then went to the zoo with Linds and Mylee. It was a perfect day, and I am hoping this means spring weather is here to stay (cross your fingers) I even got to sport shorts and a tank on my run--it was pretty much the best thing ever.... no more Snow!!...pretty please?

funny story-- these twogiraffes were getting a little frendly--( lets be honest it was just the boy giraffe--the girl was minding her own business) Anyways, let say it was bit awkward with the kids and all...especially when caleb started asking questions...ummm?

zoee was not sure about the carousel at first....by the end she didn't want to leave

wow i didn't even know the zoo was open yet! COOL! we took jase last year and he was a bit too young for it, i think. this summer should be perfect. and he HATED the carousel! LOL. I can't believe how grown up Zoee looks already. And her hair is oh so cute. i love the bangs. anyways, nice job on that CAKE, by the way. i've never made a red velvet cake! probably a sin since i'm from the south!!! and if ya make those cake pops, i'm curious to see if they are yummy. i follow bakerella's blog, too. those things are so dang cute but seem like a lot of work. ugh.

Baby animals are so darling.

This weather is so liberating. It makes us all want to wiggle and wiggle and wiggle our winter blues out! It is so nice. Too bad the giraffes weren't more discrete. Kids notice things like THAT. :)

That looks so fun! I love that it has been so nice. I am with you, I hope it is here to stay! They look so cute in their summer attire! And kudos on the cake from scratch. I have tried a few times and it always ends in disaster! crumbles or the middle collapses!:(

Those boy giraffes, you just can't trust them! :) Looks like you all had a great day, I can't wait till we head to the zoo for my daughter's birthday in early May (hopefully the giraffes won't be as frisky!).

I LOVE the zoo! It's great that you guys have already made it! Jax has a field trip there next month and I can't wait! Now that Spring is here we all have to come out of hibernation and get together. I know I always say that...but I'm serious:)!
