{The Vaca & Boston Marathon}

NYC--what can I even say? I am in love. The hustle and bustle, the lights, the architecture, the history, central park, SoHo, the food, the shopping, the quaint shops, the broadway shows!--should I go on? NYC is my kind of city. I loved every minute there, and wish we would have had more than a couple of days to take it all in. We stayed in Times Square--which was a blast--we could always head out around midnight, and things were just getting started! The first day we were there we went for a run in Central Park, and then spend the rest of the day out on the town! We went to grand central station, Rockefeller Center, Top of the Rock, Bryant park, and hit the famous Serendipity 3, it was a blast. The second day we were there we went on a "The Real New York tour". It was six hourswith the tour guide of the century! He was a real New Yorker--lived there his whole life--and knew all there was to know about the city. He told us all about the history of all the buildings, of central park, and all these amazing stories. He showed us all of the famous hotels and what celebrities lived where. Showed us where John Lennon was shot--(moment of silence)- He took us to SoHo, Greenwich Villiage, Brooklyn Bridge, NYU, Little Italy,The financial district, Saint Paul's chapel, China Town, and Ground Zero. What made his tour so amazing was his vast knowledge of the history of NYC--about all the old mafia, poets, and everyone that got their start there. He showed us some amazing things--and gave us a day we would never forget. Not to mention he went to high school with Jennifer Anniston and recently met up with her at a high school reunion--he showed us pictures of them together on his phone--I love her. If you go to NY you have got to take this tour--it's rated #1 on trip advisor--and it is amazing! After our tour we went to WICKED! I had a perma-grin the whole time. Our Galinda was hilarious--it was so much fun! We are all ready planning our next trip there!
