{Boston Low down}

Wow!! all I have to say is--lets do it again!! I had such a fun race today--and most of all felt awesome the entire time--which sometimes isn't the case. I think most of that had to do with me just kickin back and not worrying about time, and just enjoying it. I will tell you that Boston is one of the hardest marathon courses I've ever done--tons of hills--and a lot of them were when you were well into 20 miles. In addition--there was gnarly head wind the entire way--but what do you do? All I have to say is that it was that is my all time favorite marathon thus far, and I had the time of my life!! It was my slowest marathon to date-- which was expected with Boston--since it's not just your regular marathon. You see the strange about the Boston marathon is that you are put with all the people that are all your same pace, and there are 20,000 runners, so it doesn't really thin out as much as other races do--- I ended up running 26.52 miles--a half a mile over--because I kept switching sides of the road. I guess it's true-You don't Race Boston!!

The spectators on the entire course were so much fun!! Everyone cheered the entire 26.2 miles! The marathon day is a holiday, so all the college kids come watch the race--and are the loudest spectators--especially the Wellesley girls--you can hear them for miles! I even stopped and took picts with my fam at mile 13--it was a blast. The fans really were so much fun--they all wanted to slap your hand--especially the kids--I did it as long as I could, and then my hand went numb! We got amazing weather too--it was just all in all an awesome experience! It was such a running/life milestone--and I feel so privileged to have been able to run in this amazing race!!I am excited to run it again :)
**My next goal is a 3:30 marathon--which is 6 minutes off my Top of Utah Marathon time-- It will be a fun!! I am up for a challenge! **
*Lots of picts from the Race and our trip to come :)

You're amazing. I truly do not understand how a person can run 26 miles and not keel over and die. I can't wait to see the pics!
