So,I am finally posting the kitchen--one of my favorite rooms in the house.! As you can see it started out a little scary--with cardboard cabinets, and some nasty carpet. In the end I think it turned out fun. I loved picking out everything. I love the white brick backsplash, the shutters, and the color--even though it looks a little different in these picts--(it is a green). I am still not finished with everything, but it is coming along. The search for the plates for my plate wall was really fun,--and I keep seeing plates that I love, so I think that it will be ever expanding. Anyways-- for all of you that wanted to see it--here is it folks--we kinda like it...
***Here are some quick picts- you get the idea...**
Before
After

View from the living room

Before--Yipes!

After- Hopefully improved.

Amy Butler fabric deserves to be in a frame--if you struggle at sewing :)
I have been adding, subracting, and rearranging the plate wall in my kitchen. Here is the finished product...I think.....but I am not sure I am in love yet....hmmm.....the search continues???
