Is there anything more fun than decorating for the holidays? I love all the smells, and all the fun colors. We went and picked out our tree last week. It's been a tradition to get a real Christmas tree for the past few years. I love the smell of a new tree, and they are so gorgeous! Caleb loved helping decorate--and the entire bottom of the tree was covered in ornaments. He couldn't go to bed until it was done--because he said it was "his job." In the morning Zoee was in awe, and ripped down all of the work Caleb had done :)
How I love this season. I love the feeling of the holidays and all of the fun festivities. I love being around family and friends. I can't wait for Christmas this year. Nothing is better than Kids and Christmas. I hope we can really teach our kids the joy of giving and the true meaning of what Christmas is...
This is Zoee's first ponytail--it's so cute! she's got way too much hair for a one year old--and is far too busy to ever look at the camera :) They are having a blast with the whole christmas tree biz..

Your decoration are so cute! I love the square wreath in the window with the red ribbon...very cute! And wow Zoee has lots of hair..that pony tail is adorable on such a little gal!:)
So cute Shar, I am excited to see your decorations! They look awesome. I love Zoee's hair in her first pony, my kids don't get that until around 2 and it is a little fountain. Such a fun time for kids huh!

Thanks for the advice! I think i'm going to go for the XSI and invest in a better lens to add to the kit lens. Any more good advice on a lens you can't live without? I have a 75-300 and 50mm f/1.8 and will get a new 18-55 with the camera. (not so impressed with the 1.8) :)

Tahnk you so much! I'm taking your advice for sure. I haven't really ever looked at the tamaron lenses. Maybe that's why I was having a hard time narrowing it down. Your pics are so beautiful and I really, really appreciate the advice.
