Ogden 1/2 Marathon..

Today I ran the 1/2 marathon(13mi)in Ogden! It is such an awesome race--I ran the full marathon before I had Zoee, and loved every second of it--Mostly because the course is so pretty! I actually just got a number by chance, because by the time I went to sign up, everything was full! It's become a huge race--there were 5,000+ participants in the marathon/half this year--Go O-town.. Anways--Just last week my cousin said his son wasn't going to run the half anymore, and that I could have his number--Hooray! So today I was running as a 17 year old boy--cool eh? as I ran across the finish line they said, "and here is 17 year old Brendan, we love to have these young kids come out." I had to laugh. My Dad came and ran the last 7 or so miles with me, which was so much fun. We were booking it, and I felt great. I actually got my PR (personal record) for my half marathons--I ran it in 1 hour 38min. It was my first race since having Zoee, and I forgot how much I missed it, can't wait for the next one.... don't mind the sweaty mess that I am..Yipes! --

Congratulations Shar!! If you had a medal for all the things that you are amazing at you would have to have a wall of medals instead of plates. On display would be a medal for great Mom, amazing sister in law, wise aunt, talented photographer, inspired decorator, devoted wife, determined exerciser, exceptional cook, fantastic daughter, the list goes on. It would make that wall of plates embarrassed!! Your unbelievable, I want to be like you when I grow up!! :-)
Love U
Lori

Look at you Wonder Woman! Wow, 7 1/2 minute miles. That is amazing! I am so running the 1/2 marathon next year, but I will be lucky to get even eleven or twelve minute miles, maybe worse!
