Well, today was Caleb's first dentist appt. He was so awesome--he just climbed right in the chair, relaxed, watched a little show in the ceiling, and was just fine with them cleaning his teeth, and doing whatever they needed to. After all was said and done, he got to pick out toys and a new toothbrush--he was loving life. He definitely doesn't take after me, because frankly I would rather have a c-section than have to have dental work done--I absolutely hate everything about it: the smell, the sounds, the occasional zing from the dentist drilling too close to a nerve--not to mention I am pretty much stressed, gripping the chair, and sweating the entire time because I know I am going to get those occasional zingers-It's the worst!! gnarly just thinking about it. Anyways--my little Caleb was such a champ---he won over everyone--they loved him--(he is so friendly, he pretty much talks to everyone and anyone and is hilarious)--we had a fun day at the dentist....=)

Way to go Caleb..I am dreading taking Kate! I cannot stand the dentist. I will have to have Preston go considering my passing out spells at such places. He looks so grown up! He is such a fun little feller!
That's so funny that he loved the dentist... but he is Caleb! He loves everything about life.. that's why I love him so! =)
What a champ! He's already better than me! I can imagine him talking to everybody like it aint no thing..gosh I love that kid!
Sharstin, I am with you on the dentist thing. The worst thing about it is the anticipation of MAYBE (and probably) feeling something hurty. I hate it! I grip the seat and sweat like crazy, too. Ugh! I HAAAATE the dentist. But I found a pretty good one who is a nice guy...it's at the South Ogden Smiles at the end of Harrison. He's great. AMAZING to hear how well Caleb did! WOW. I would think a kid would freak out (but those movie on the ceiling things are pretty cool...I like those for me...even though I really can't FOCUS on it bc I know it is a SNEAKY trick to distract us!!!)
