I had to share my absolute favorite running shoe. It's the Pearl Izumi, and it's the best. I have worn saucony, and the ever popular aasics--which I ran my last marathon in--but I always end up with blisters by the end of the 26.2--These Pearl Izumi are perfect, and I haven't yet had a blister. You can get them at Peak Performance in Ogden--they run around $100 or so--and if you haven't ever done it--I recommend going in and having a fitting--they see your running gait, and check out what kind of arch you have, and fit you to your ideal shoe. I have to say it has been so fabulous --after having Zoee--to be able to hit the pavement again, even if it is a little cold outside. I love a long run! I also love my speed training--very challenging--which I thrive on, and I always like to beat my best, and I am so excited for my next race!Anyhoo--try these shoes if you are currently in need for some new running kicks.

I should give these a try! My feet are so crazy and I have never been able to run for more than a mile without my feet going numb! Maybe a good fitting would do the trick...nothing else has seemed to work. Thanks for the recommendation
Good to know! I have been using Aasics for about the past 10 months. I have to get new shoes to start running in as soon as Beckham is born (mine are now looking pretty shabby). I'll have to check those out.
I love reading your blog after not seeing any for a while. You always have the best ideas! And I love running so I am going to have to go find me some of those shoes. Mine have about had it. Thanks for sharing.
I must try these Pearl shoes sometime. I actually saw them at Runner's World in Orem but they only had bright green..not for me! I am an adidas lover, but I am willing to venture out with shoes..minus nike! I will take an advice from a speedy girl like yourself.
Sweet I was trying to decide between some Pearl's or Brooks so maybe I'll go with the Pearls. Jake gets them for 35$ through his work!
