I thought it was high time we got an update on Andrew. He really hasn't made an appearance on the fam blog for a while. Well first off, he has taken up guitar. He has always wanted to learn how to play the guitar-- So, I got him one for Christmas, and he has been taking lessons. He loves to go sit out on the back porch at night-- with the kids-- and practice. I'll have to say, he is getting pretty good. It will be very handy for camping trips around the campfire, and of course so he can serrenade me.....ha ha--but-just look at his concentration in this pict--I don't think I've ever seen him so serious :) He also just purchased a road bike, and has been hitting the pavement--workin it--and doing awesome!One more thing to add to the craziness- he is about ready to hit the books again. For the past year or so, he has talked off and on about going back to school to get his executive MBA. It is just something he has always wanted to do. So he studied, took the GMAT, researched all the local school--UofU bein ranked very high--he applied, and went through the whole process, and got accepted! He starts in Aug. The hard thing is--he graduated from BYU, and now he is about to go to the U--what to do? Who to cheer for? tough decisions--since I went to the U as well. I'm pretty sure BYU will win out--but you never know :)
I just have to say that my husband is awesome! He has so many wonderful, and outstanding qualities, and I love that whatever he wants in life, he just goes for it, and is successful at it. I love you Babe!

Holy Moly Mr. Andrew!!! You are going crazy over there! That is fun about the guitar, and cool about getting into the U's program (congrats). What is a road bike? Like a motorcycle?? Or a special kind of bicycle? I feel silly that I don't know! Hee hee

Go Drew!! I have always loved Andrew and what fun accomplishments he is into. I expect a concert from him when I come to UT. Plus Ben really wants to get into cyclying as well, perhaps they could ride side by side.
Congratulations Andrew!! I remember when Mike was getting his EMBA, it was a lot of work and sacrifice but well worth it.
Congrats Andrew! It was hard going back to school for Jason's masters but once the program started the program flew and it has been so worth it!
Andrew is fabulous..always taking up new things. I would come see him in concert as well. I could sing if he would like.
